Marina Addis Waldmann has full training in Architecture and a strong
interest inter- and trans-disciplinary research. Her work focuses on
the architecture of loss. Cognition, navigation, and recollection concerning the built environments. With particular attention to narratives of vulnerabilities, health and care in architecture. She grew up in
Italy, but was trained in France at ENSA-Paris Val de Seine (2018). She earned a
MA in Neurosciences Applied to Architecture (2020) and in Moving Images
at Università IUAV di Venezia (2022). Her first short film Anisocoria was presented in the group exhibition Debris
curated by Peter Weltz at Fondazione Bevilacqua la Masa in Venice (2022), We will design at Base during
Milano Design Week (2023) and The Cut-Out Body at Onomatopee during Dutch
Design Week (2023). She co-curated along with Merovee Dubois Casa Dolce
Casa at Biennale Spazio Pubblico in Rome (2023). She is currently undertaking
her PhD at Royal College of Art in London under the supervision of Mark Campbell and David Burns.
